Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, rhubarb, spice and violet. Plush on the plate with lively acidity and a lingering smooth finish. The fruit was handpicked from Calypte Vineyard, located in the Russian River Valley at an elevation of 500 feet. Aged 14 months in 40% new French oak. Unfiltered. Extremely limited production of 112 cases.
